This map of Afghanistan can be found in appendix to Als deutscher Gesandter in Afghanistan (1939) written by Kurt Ziemke. Afghanistan is illustrated in the center of the map bordering Iraq to the west, Turkmenistan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north, Tajikistan to the northeast, India to the east and Belushistan to the south. The city of Kabul is marked in the center of the map, Mazar-i-Sherif to the north, Jalalabad and Peshawar to the east and Herat to the west.
