This map, which is one of two pencil-schetched maps appended to Vzglyad’’ na evropeyskuyu Turtsiyu i okrestnosti Konstantinopolya published in S:t Petersburg in 1828, shows the European areas governed by the Ottoman Empire, including Constantinople and bordering Austria and Russia to the north. The other map appearing in the same book is a topographical map of Constantinople with the Bosphorus in the center.
