This map can be found on p. 207 in The Gobi Desert (1942) written by the British missionaries Mildred Cable and Francesca French.

It is a small-scale map without topographical details showing an area located east of the Takla Makan Desert. To the northwest of the map the Aral Sea is marked from which the Syr Darya and the Oxus river flow eastward. The city of Khiva is marked to the west of the map, Merv to the southwest, while Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent are marked in the center of the map. To the south of the map one can find Kabul and Srinagar, and to the east the Pamirs, the Issyk Kol Lake and the cities of Kashgar and Yarkand.
